Betacap® Cutaneous Solution is a prescription-only topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions affecting the scalp, including eczema and dermatitis. It contains the active ingredient betamethasone valerate, which helps reduce inflammation, redness and itching.

Dermatitis and eczema affecting the scalp can cause persistent itching, flaking, redness and irritation. Betacap® Cutaneous Solution is specially formulated for use on the scalp, allowing the medication to be applied easily through the hair and directly onto the affected skin.

How to Use Betacap® Cutaneous Solution

Betacap® Cutaneous Solution should be applied directly to the affected areas of the scalp exactly as directed by your clinician.

Part the hair where necessary and apply a small amount of the solution directly onto the affected skin. Gently massage the solution into the scalp using your fingertips.

Wash your hands after application unless your hands are being treated.

Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and face. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Always follow the instructions provided by your clinician and use the medication exactly as prescribed.
