Betamethasone valerate BP 0.122% w/w cream is a topical corticosteroid used to treat a range of inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. It works by reducing inflammation, redness, itching, and discomfort.
The cream formulation is lighter than an ointment, making it suitable for weeping, moist, or less dry skin areas, and for use on areas where a less greasy product is preferred.
