Betnovate® lotion contains betamethasone valerate, a topical corticosteroid used to treat a range of inflammatory skin and scalp conditions. It works by reducing inflammation, redness, itching, and discomfort.
The lotion formulation is particularly suitable for hair-bearing areas, such as the scalp, and for skin conditions where a lighter, easily spread product is preferred. It may be used for conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, when prescribed or supplied following clinical assessment.
