What is Betnovate® Lotion?

 

 

Betnovate® Lotion is a prescription-only topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. It contains the active ingredient betamethasone valerate, which helps reduce inflammation, redness and itching.

Dermatitis (also known as eczema) is a common skin condition that can cause dry, itchy, inflamed and irritated skin. How to Use Betnovate® Lotion

Betnovate® Lotion should be applied directly to the affected areas exactly as directed by your clinician.

Apply a small amount of lotion to the affected skin once or twice daily and gently massage it into the area until absorbed.

Wash your hands after application unless your hands are being treated.

Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and broken or infected skin unless specifically advised by your clinician.

Always follow the instructions provided by your clinician and use the medication exactly as prescribed.

Important Information

Betnovate® Lotion is not suitable for everyone and should only be used following an appropriate clinical assessment.
