Health screening blood tests can help identify potential concerns early, provide reassurance when everything is normal, and give you a clearer understanding of your overall wellbeing.

Some tests require fasting to ensure the most accurate results. This is most commonly recommended for certain glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride and metabolic health markers.
If fasting is required for your selected health screen, we’ll send you clear preparation instructions by email before your appointment, including how long to fast for and whether you can take medications as normal.
For most tests, fasting is not required and you can eat and drink as usual before attending your appointment.

Yes, in most cases you should continue taking your prescribed medications as normal.
Some medications and supplements can affect certain blood test results, but we’ll let you know before your appointment if there are any special instructions for your chosen health screen.
If you’re unsure, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to help.

Once your results are ready, you’ll receive a comprehensive laboratory report showing all of the biomarkers included in your chosen health screen, along with your results, reference ranges and any values that fall outside the expected range.

Many patients find the report provides valuable insight into their health and helps them better understand what’s happening inside their body.
For patients who would like additional support, we also offer an optional clinician consultation for £69. During the consultation, a qualified clinician will review your results with you, explain what they mean in the context of your symptoms and health goals, answer any questions you may have, and discuss potential next steps where appropriate.
This can be particularly helpful if you have abnormal results, multiple markers outside the reference range, or simply want professional guidance on how to interpret your report and improve your health moving forward.

Once your blood sample has been collected, it is carefully packaged and securely transported to an accredited UK laboratory for analysis.
The laboratory follows strict procedures for sample handling, packaging and transportation to help preserve sample integrity and ensure accurate results. Samples are tracked throughout the process and transported using specialist medical courier networks designed specifically for healthcare and pathology services. This helps ensure your sample arrives safely and in the correct condition for testing. Based on the laboratory’s procedures, samples are packaged and transported according to recognised healthcare transport standards and quality requirements.

Most appointments take around 15–20 minutes.
When you arrive, we’ll check your details, answer any questions you have and make sure you’re comfortable before proceeding.
Your blood sample will be collected by a trained healthcare professional in our private consultation room. The procedure itself usually only takes a few minutes, and our team will guide you through every step of the process.
Whether you’re a regular blood donor or feeling a little nervous about having your blood taken, we’ll do our best to make your appointment as smooth, professional and comfortable as possible.

Most patients receive their results within a few working days, although turnaround times can vary depending on the specific tests included in your chosen health screen.
Many routine health markers can be processed quickly, while some specialist hormone, vitamin and advanced health tests may take longer to complete. Once all testing has been completed, you’ll receive your comprehensive laboratory report by email.
If your chosen package includes tests with longer laboratory processing times, we’ll let you know what to expect when confirming your appointment.

The Hormone Health Checks focus specifically on hormone levels.
The Wellman Complete and Wellwoman Complete profiles are much broader and assess multiple areas of health including:
