Description

Qdenga is a vaccine used to help protect against dengue fever, a viral infection spread by mosquitoes. Dengue is widespread in many parts of Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

The vaccine is recommended for people living in or travelling to dengue-risk areas, especially those with frequent or long-term exposure to mosquitoes.

Vaccination course

  • Dose 1: Day 0

  • Dose 2: 3 months after dose 1

Both doses are required to complete the course and provide protection.

Booster doses

  • No routine booster is currently recommended after completing the full course
